choosing the subjects you are going to take for your Leaving Cert it is important to remember that these choices will affect the jobs you want when you finish school and the courses you want to do in college.
Ask yourself- What subject am I most interested in ?
- Which subjects am I most likely to be best at ?
- What subjects will I need ?
Remember it is important to have a
balanced choice of subjects to suit a variety of career areas and third level courses.The Leaving Cert requires a great amount of hard work over two years so it is much easier to work hard if you have chosen subjects you like .
It is also important to think about the
level you are going to take for each subject.
